He has over 20 years ofexperience in Audit and Assurance, Taxation Services, Business Advisory, and ForensicAudit. An exceptional Business leader known for his integrity, dedication, andcommitment to revolutionary ideas and implementation.Beyond his Professional Practice, CPA Andrew has made significant contributions inacademia and community service, having served as a lecturer for over a decade at KCAUniversity’s School of Business and has over period held position of Leader Trainer,Specialized Trainer on Management Accounting Panels of the Institute of Certified PublicAccountants of Kenya (ICPAK) as well as Coordinator for TVET programs at theuniversity’s Professional Technical Training Institute (2017-2023).He is the Founder and Chairman of InvestoBrain Sacco Societies Ltd, and also serves asthe Director and Treasurer of KCA University Sacco Society Ltd. His leadership extendsto Education Industry as the current Chairman of the Board of Management at LietaMixed Secondary School, Board Member Lieta Primary School, and Rabuor PrimarySchool respectively. He previously chaired the board of Management at OgwamrondoMixed Secondary School (2018–2019).Andrew has been actively involved in public service through various task forces. In 2024,he was appointed by Her Excellency the Governor Gladys Wanga to the HomabayCounty Government Pending Bills, Land, and Assets Verification Task Force. He was amember of the KCA University Western Campus Business Sustainability Task Force(2017-2021), as well as a member of Ad-hoc Committee on the establishment of the KCAUniversity Professional and Technical Training Institute an TVET Arm of the University.He was a member of TVET-CDACC Transition Task Force that spearheadedImplementation of CBET Education at the University.CPA Grohney holds a Master of Science (Finance), Bachelor of Commerce (Finance), bothfrom Kenyatta University. A Certified Public Accountant (K) and a CertifiedComputerized Auditor. and a Practicing member of the Institute of Certified PublicAccountants of Kenya (ICPAK) Composite Category, a member of the Institute of InternalAuditors of Kenya (IIA)., and is currently pursuing his PhD in Finance at KCA Universitywith Special Interest in Sustainability Finance.He is a remarkable family man, married with one Wife, three sons and one daughter.
